Amazon’s Optimal Sourcing Systems (OSS) is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to manage new products and programs to improve our modeling and management of upstream product availability and the use of this data to accurately promise delivery to Amazon's customers. OSS is part of Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT), owners of demand forecasting, inventory management, sourcing, inbound optimization, Fast Track promise and order fulfillment. The OSS team works with several supplier inputs/constraints and other SCOT systems to execute a sourcing strategy, developing an optimal plan for meeting customer demand, and translating that plan into real world execution by systematically connecting with suppliers and leveraging inbound transportation resources. OSS owns and develops systems to systematically negotiate cost with suppliers, determine the right inbound channel, optimize how we purchase inventory, and automate procurement by integrating with supplier systems.
