Microsoft Procurement partners across Microsoft to develop and execute the best supplier strategy that supports each group's business strategy. MS Procurement is responsible for procuring multi-billions of indirect goods and services from suppliers in an innovative, compliant, cost effective, and socially responsible approach that exceeds stakeholder expectations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing strong relationships to join our Engagement function, leading a Procurement partnership with business stakeholders within the Engineering Engagement team. The Sr. Procurement Engagement Manager will partner with the Identity, Security and Developer Tools/Services groups within the Cloud + AI team to develop and execute a robust procurement plan, aligned to the businesses' strategy and priorities. Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders Partner with assigned teams' leadership to develop a Procurement plan aligned to business strategies and priorities, while optimizing supplier quality, cost, and risk Deliver monthly and/or quarterly business reviews for assigned teams' leadership that measures progress on procurement plan Develop and deliver relevant data driven analyses to identify opportunities across a broad range of Procurement solutions Partner with the assigned teams and Sourcing to develop supplier sourcing and outsourcing strategies Identify opportunities
Driven, self-starter capable of effectively prioritizing and operating with a high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced change environment Excellent communication, cross group collaboration and interpersonal skills, able to simplify complicated material for stakeholders. 8+ years of demonstrated work experience in procurement Proven ability to partner, built trust, communicate with and influence senior executives Ability to make the complex simple and influence through effective storytelling Ability to manage cross-group, influence others and build on the work of others BS/BA; MBA preferred
