As part of the Core Operating System group, the Hyper-V team delivers the virtualization technology for machine virtualization (VMs), OS virtualization (Containers) and Virtualization Based Security to all Windows Operating Systems, including Azure, Windows Server, Windows Client, Windows IoT and XBox. The team collaborates across Windows, Linux and open source projects to build and ship solutions such as Hyper-V, Windows Subsystem for Linux and Windows Containers in addition to contributing technology to other teams and projects.
