AWS Global Business Operations (GBO) is seeking an experienced business analyst with a background in finance, incentive compensation, or revenue reconciliation. The Sr. Ops Business Partner will report to the GBO Manager of Operations Business Partners. The person in this role will partner with the local Sales Operations teams to operationalize best business practices and governance across sales revenue recognition, incentive compensation, and segmentation, with the goal of driving scalable business growth. A successful candidate must be able to develop effective internal partnerships, solve problems, and use data to inform insights and drive business change. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Compensation Plan Support: Support administration of compensation plans (HRIS Data, Plan Setups, Quarterly Payouts, etc.) and assist with the distribution of individual compensation plans and reporting on attainment to target. · Issue Resolution: Vet and resolve issues escalated
· Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business, accounting, or a related field · 4+ years as a finance, compensation, or revenue reconciliation analyst · Strong Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot tables, report building) · Ability to source, work with, and combine multiple disparate data sets to answer business questions and isolate anomalies · Ability to influence both business and technical teams at all levels of the organization · Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills · Superior problem solving skills · Strong attention to detail · Thrives in ambiguous situations and
