Capacity Planning team Network Capacity Planning
The Network Capacity Planning team within the Cloud Supply Chain and Planning (CSCP) function is at the forefront of the Capacity Fulfillment promise for the Microsoft cloud. Within CPM is the Network Planning team, which manages the capacity planning for the network infrastructure and Hardware. The CP team works with partners in Supply Chain, Finance and the Engineering Groups to deliver capacity and enable new technologies and hardware transitions for scale and agility. We are looking for experienced program managers with extraordinary leadership and demonstrated large-scale project management success. You should have exceptional technical acumen, Operations and supply chain expertise, and have the executive presence to lead complex and time sensitive initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities : This is a broad cross-team role with high visibility. This role will interface between Azure planning and product engineering teams to understand and operationalize DC network infrastructure planning. To be successful you must have a solid understanding and proven track record in managing programs and operations projects. You will define and deliver solutions to support Microsoft's cloud infrastructure planning and operations functions; this team is seeking an experienced leader to work across the breadth of the organization to deliver infrastructure services. Skills and Qualifications: Proven background in Supply chain and Sales Operations Planning Understanding of business and financial concepts Strong program and project management skills. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Exceptional communication skills are expected: Technical Reports, Presentation skills Solid understanding of core infrastructure services. Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment. Self-managing leader who takes initiative. Supply-chain / deployment experience infrastructure Datacenter/Cloud experience highly desirable Deep understanding of planning and scheduling
