It’s still Day One in Kindle Content, and we are looking for an exceptionally-talented, bright, and entrepreneurial Sr. Marketing Manager to help us make progress towards our goal to make “Every book ever written, available (in any language) in 60 seconds”. This is an exciting opportunity to be a seed member of a new team focused on the next round of International Expansion for Kindle and the digital pipeline. This role will be responsible for development and execution of bold creative marketing and merchandising programs to accelerate our ability to serve customers in new and emerging regions around the world, as well as customer experience - from discovery through to post-purchase. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with online and offline marketing, making data-informed decisions, and influencing others. They will have experience managing customer-facing businesses and a demonstrated understanding of generating traffic and new customer acquisition. The successful

· Bachelor's degree · 5+ years in merchandising, marketing, advertising, or brand management roles · Flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time if necessary · Industry background in Internet commerce, or Publishing · MBA degree · A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects · Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others. · Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
