We do this by building cost-effective, low-latency, high throughput systems that enable users to explore the catalog based on text queries and machine learned image features. We will provide search functionalities to both scrub the entire catalog as well as inverse search solutions to classify ASINs and images at index time. These systems will rely on data from our innovative, next-generation image processing solutions that perform at high speed, precision and recall. We will provide both asynchronous and synchronous search and classification solutions that drive automation, increase efficiency and reduce manual effort for all clients. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · 10+ years of professional experience in software development/engineering · 10+ years of engineering management experience · 5+ years of experience managing development managers and tech leaders · Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures · Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis · Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems · Experience recruiting, hiring, and managing a high performing team · Experience in setting up org structure and
