These rely on platform services, which enable seamless data integration and information flow among the Community Shopping customer-facing applications. Developing and enhancing these platform services to meet strict SLAs and improve their cost-efficiency is a continuous quest for engineering and operational Excellency. Amazon Lists and the Amazon List Platform help customers by making Lists an everyday shopping tool, and by inspiring shoppers. Customers think about shopping anywhere and anytime – while making breakfast, while driving home, at work, in the car. · 10+ yrs managing software engineering teams building scalable, distributed applications. · Knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and software design. · Experience defining, prioritizing and executing a clear roadmap in an agile environment. · Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to drive consensus. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field· Prior experience as a Software Engineer. · Experience using Amazon Web Services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, etc. · Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
