Do you want to create new brands from scratch? Are you curious about consumer products from shampoos and body wash to mattresses and furniture? Do you want to invent and Think Big to scale a new program for Amazon customers? The Amazon Accelerator program enables manufacturers to create their own brands exclusively for Amazon’s customers. Our manufacturer participants create brands for products that span categories and deliver great value to customers across various Amazon programs including Pantry, Fresh and Prime Now. We provide insights to manufacturers on what's trending and what's missing on Amazon to help them launch successful products. And we make it easy for them to sell on Amazon and be discovered by customers. Our vision is to be available to every manufacturer worldwide, providing product insights and self-service tools to launch selection that matters to customers. This is an early stage initiative with a fast paced, highly collaborative start up like environment inside Amazon
· Bachelor's degree is CS or related field · 8+ years of broad engineering experience including infrastructure and application development · 5+ years of experience managing a team of engineers · Proven track record of leading the delivery of large-scale, high-quality systems · Experience working in a complex, service oriented software development · 5+ year experience programming in Java and or C/C++ · Experience with Agile Management, OO Modeling, UNIX, and database related projects· Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, SVMs, neural networks ·
