While Alexa can interact naturally with everyone, she does her best work when she knows each customer as an individual and can tailor her assistance to their specific needs. When you ask Alexa for a rundown of your schedule, or to play that new artist you asked her about the other day, she needs to know who you are, remember your past interactions, and respect your preferences. In this role you will lead the design and research initiatives that enable Alexa to treat people as individuals and provide personalized experiences to them. You will act as the head of design, including managing the careers and giving creative guidance to an elite group of user researchers, voice (VUI) designers, and visual (GUI) designers. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and data teams focused on identity

Please provide as part of your resume. · 10+ years of relevant professional experience driving creative strategy and execution for digital products. · 5+ years of experience working on world-class, consumer facing, digital products across a variety of media. · 5+ years of experience leading creative multi-disciplinary teams. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.· A background in product design, UX design, voice design, conversational design, and/or user research. Voice design experience highly preferred but not required. · Demonstrated ability to influence
