We are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical, and inventive Senior Manager of Learning to help us make Amazon a place that customers love to shop. The Learning team provides a variety of learning, performance support and career development offerings for Amazon Books, Pop-ups and Amazon 4-Star locations including technical training, new store and individual onboarding, and management/leadership development. The Sr. Mgr of Learning will lead a team of Learning Experience designers and program managers to help build, coordinate and deliver a full curriculum of programs, including function-specific, Amazon corporate-led and externally-sourced content. The incumbent will work closely with the business stakeholders and store operations leadership to set learning strategy, align and develop resources, build
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing training teams (with direct reports) and managing learning, leadership and/or professional development programs; demonstrated effectiveness working with subject matter experts, learning councils and HR Business Partners - Undergraduate degree in related field (management/business, human resources, education, communication, etc.) · Strong background in the design and development of functional/technical training programs and curriculum materials for globally dispersed audiences; experience using knowledge management methods and references for individual
