We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Senior Supply Chain and Instock Leader who thrives on solving complex problems to develop a Supply Chain and Inventory Management strategy across multiple channels and teams. This is a highly visible position that requires a candidate with proven leadership ability to facilitate and guide improvements within Tools, Home Improvement, Lawn and Garden and Major Appliances. This newly formed role will require balancing the tactical and strategic on a daily basis and working on problems that touch the entire Hardlines organization as well as interacting with central teams to drive change. This leader must motivate others to meet the challenges of a highly results driven environment and will need to work closely to merge Supply Chain principles with Amazon systems. Successful candidates will be strong leaders who have demonstrated an ability to hire and develop a larger team, prioritize and successfully contend with ambiguity, communicate clearly
· 3+ years relevant experience in forecasting, demand/inventory planning and/or supply chain management · 10+ years of overall experience · Experience leading teams and recruiting, hiring and developing talent · Data driven problem solving and strong analytical skills · Team oriented with strong written and oral communication skills, and able to effectively manage multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and meet demanding timelines · Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a passion for driving process improvement · Experience presenting to Senior Management · MBA/Masters
