Chain Management team Senior Manager to
Amazon is seeking an analytical, driven and customer-obsessed Senior Manager to lead the Instock and Supply Chain Management team for the US Shoes and Luggage businesses. The Senior Manager will lead a team of Instock Managers responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies to ensure product availability, maximize sales and reduce supply chain costs. This leader must balance tactical and strategic priorities on a daily basis, while working with internal and external stakeholders to drive change. The Senior Manager must motivate others to meet the challenges of a highly results-driven environment, and will need to work closely to merge supply chain principles with Amazon systems. The successful candidate commands a highly quantitative and analytical skillset, exercises superb business judgment, and possesses strong people management skills. The position requires a multi-faceted individual; one that has the ability to lead a team and influence others while also working autonomously
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Finance, or related field · 5+ years’ professional experience in supply chain, inventory management, finance and/or project management · Experience leading teams and recruiting, hiring and developing talent · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Proven track record of collaborating successfully with internal and external partners · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to deal with ambiguous problems · Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail· MBA or
