Sr. Manager, Global Programs – Shipping and Delivery Support (Level 7) This role is highly visible and serves as a key global program and people leader within the Shipping and Delivery Support (SDS) Organization. The 2000+ members of the SDS Team are enabling Amazon to become Earth’s Most Customer Centric transportation provider by supporting multiple customer segments across a rapidly growing portfolio of products and services. We leverage technology including automation, self-service, associate tools, and machine learning to both to resolve customer issues proactively and when contacts are required we handle them with quality and efficiency. The candidate for this position will possess experience designing and implementing effective mechanisms, and is expected to develop a broad understanding of both the transportation businesses we support and SDS operations across the globe. · Bachelor’s degree and people leadership experience · Ability to travel globally 25% of the time · Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects with aggressive schedules · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the enterprise · Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize tasks · Skilled at driving consensus with technical and non-technical audiences · Proven success in leading large programs across multiple business functions. · Strong
