Amazon is seeking an experienced leader to enhance our export capabilities and processes for customer shipments. These capabilities enable Amazon to ship any exportable product to any eligible customer anywhere in the world. The successful candidate will have significant experience in high volume, cross-border B2C logistics. The individual will lead the rapid growth and evolution of his/her organization to develop and deploy the processes required to support our growth plans and thrill our current and future global customers. The candidate will hire and develop a process engineering team to convert requirements generated from our product management organization into highly effective and automated operating processes. Those best-in-class processes will allow Amazon to meet or exceed our committed service to customers while continuously improving the cost and click to delivery time. The team will work closely with Amazon Global Logistics Tech to specify and then help deploy technology solutions
· Bachelor’s degree · 7+ years of international experience in a high volume import or export environment · 7+ years process management and performance experience · Experience building teams in an ambiguous environment with pressing near term goals · Track record of building high performing teams and innovating existing processes · Significant retail experience in markets outside of western Europe and North America · High volume parcel shipping experience · Significant logistics experience in markets outside of China, western Europe and North America · Fulfillment operation experience · MBA/MS ·
