Amazon.com is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Employee Benefits to lead our Americas (U.S., Canada and Latam) regional teams. This hands-on managerial role will partner extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners across these three regions as well as the globe on strategy, design and delivery of employee benefits. In addition to ensuring a positive employee experience with our programs, this role will also have overall responsible for all regulatory requirements for Amazon’s plans and programs. Qualified candidates need to have industry experience in managing multi-country benefit programs, regionally-based teams, program compliance, and experience with integrating programs through acquisition activity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, works effectively with internal and external contacts, has proven abilities to manage critical projects to successful completion, and enjoys the challenges of developing and improving programs and service delivery
· Bachelor’s degree · 10+ years of benefits or program management work experience · Experience with benefits design and delivery · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate and communicate with business partners and teams to meet operational goals · Strong business judgment and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done · Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in an ambiguous and deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail and ability
