Project Socrates is part of the Business AI team at Microsoft. Th is team combines the unique reinforcement learning platform acquired in the Bonsai acquisition with the AirSim simulation technology built by Microsoft. Socrates vision is to deliver enterprise customers a comprehensive tool chain for building , training, and deploying autonomous systems. Today these systems include machine calibration and tuning, motion control, industrial robotics, HVAC systems and energy storage. In the Solution Architect role with Socrates , you will manage the end-to-end technical sales engagements with enterprise prospects and customers while continuously evangelizing the merits and value of the Socrates Platform. In this position you are expected to become a hands-on technical expert on the Socrates product and roadmap, and to be excellent at interacting with our customers, internal product and engineering teams, and the broader machine learning ecosystem.
Lead end-to-end technical engagement, qualification and solution design discussions with enterprise prospects to ensure successful understanding, evaluation, design and implementation of Bonsai Become a subject matter expert on the Bonsai Platform, including complete understanding of the Bonsai architecture, accompanying technology, integrations, and implementation requirements Play a central supporting role configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the Bonsai platforms to ensure successful PoC and production deployment experiences Build customer specific solution designs, references architectures,
Experience in technical sales and solution design/integration for infrastructure software, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or development platforms A roll-up your sleeves and get-it-done a ttitude with the a p titude, p assion , and curiosity for tackling a wide range of complex technical problems Excellent presentation and communication skills Proven ability to research and write technical project proposals Ability to breakdown deeply technical topics into digestible concepts for varying audience types ( spanning architects to executives) and levels of technical proficiency Bachelor's level degree
