Senior DC Infrastructure Engineering Manager Amazon’s AWS Data Centers are a major component of worldwide cloud-computing infrastructure and are industry leading examples of mission critical facilities. Our data centers are industry leading examples of energy efficient, cost effective designs. The Data Center Engineering organization is ultimately responsible for all engineering discipline contribution required to deliver the most highly efficient and sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems in the world. Engineers in AWS work to design resilient, cost effective data center facilities. We are responsible for achieving world class availability for our customers and drive to develop a fleet of buildings emphasizing security, safety, and efficiency, while finding new ways to meet AWS’s growing demand. We justify and communicate the technical decisions we make directly to AWS leadership and work hard to drive continuous advancements in our designs. As a Principal Engineer Manager at

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. - 15+ years of experience with mission critical facilities, including construction or operations mission critical equipment/system design and implementation experience. - 3+ years managing engineering teams working on facilities outside the US. - 7+ years of experience with uninterruptible power sources, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution units, and automatic/static transfer switches. - 7+ years of experience with chillers, cooling towers, direct and indirect evaporative cooing, variable speed drives, and fan
