Amazon is looking for a Senior Industrial Designer to join an exciting new product team working to build a completely new best-in-class consumer product. As a Sr. Industrial Designer, you will lead the team’s product design efforts, tackling our biggest and boldest design challenges (from vision to execution) with far reaching impacts for the group, roadmap, and, ultimately, our customers. It will be a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will work collaboratively with senior leaders across the organization as well as the larger design, product and tech teams.
· BS in Industrial Design, Product Design, related field or 8 years of relevant work experience in consumer product design · A portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating industry leading design solutions across multiple product categories and domains · Proven experience designing and shipping consumer products · Experience visualizing concepts using industry standard 2D and 3D tools such as: Photoshop/Illustrator, Rhino, Solidworks, Creo, Alias and Keyshot · Demonstrated experience with mechanical design, manufacturing and engineering requirements and constraints· Knowledge of materials
