We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Finance HR team as a Senior HR Generalist. The central objective of this role to ensure the treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our framework of our core business values and objectives. To support that objective, this position's responsibilities fall into proactive and reactive categories, with the primary focus of the role (*75-80%) on reactive performance management and employee escalations. The individual will work reactively on critical employee issues that are highly sensitive and typically can only be successfully completed within a limited timeframe, such as: workplace investigations, consultations on challenging employee situations, and/or providing performance management consultations. This position will also work on proactive programs for managers

· At least ten years direct experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law with an emphasis on employee relations work · Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, JD, or other specialized training in labor/employee relations a significant plus · Solid understanding of federal and state employment and labor laws · Experience in designing and delivering successful performance/coaching training programs · Technically proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint· Team player with strong written and oral communication skills; excellent public speaker · Strong interpersonal
