As a member of this team, you will work directly with engineers across the company and across the world to design HW from concept to data center deployment. You will work with internal partners to develop requirements and specifications and you will partner with ODM/OEM companies to deliver on that vision. This is an opportunity to leverage and grow your existing HW design experience in an innovative and highly collaborative environment where the results of your work will matter to Microsoft and Microsoft's customers.
Work with internal and external partners to define and specify HW solution requirements. Collaborate with partner ODM/OEM companies to design and test HW solutions Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure integration and functionality of solutions Collaborate with partners to ensure systems meet significant quality, reliability, and service level requirements for a cloud environment.
BS / MS Electrical Engineering 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical or system level design across all stages of the development and release cycles Experience with Cadence EDA tools Experience with analog and digital circuit design. Experience developing HW component and system level specifications Experience developing HW verification and functional test plans Experience working across disciplines and organizations to resolve complex issues Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Fundamental knowledge of the following HW design principals: Signal Integrity, Power Design, Computer
