Development (CSI-FW) team Cloud Server Infrastructure
The Cloud Server Infrastructure Firmware Development (CSI-FW) team is responsible for server hardware definition, design and development of Server and Rack Infrastructure engineering for Microsoft's online services. We work closely with Microsoft product groups, industry partners and researchers to architect and develop server hardware solutions that meet the requirements for our cloud services platforms at the lowest possible cost of ownership (TCO).
This role is for a highly motivated Firmware Engineer with a background in Linux Embedded and Firmware development. You will be involved with all phases of product development, from design through manufacturing and productization. At the design phase, you will lead the architecture and design and responsible firmware development, including; driver interface, SoC bring-up, protocol and feature development of low-level hardware. 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing software solutions. Proven and demonstrable skill in C, C++ or Java. Experience with GIT, Yocto and Jenkins are an added plus.
