Regional Expansion team Senior Finance Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the Regional Expansion team within AWS Finance. Regional Expansion team is responsible for financial analysis required to support business decisions to roll out AWS Services in new/ existing geographies. This position will work closely with senior finance management and regional business partners across the AWS organization to drive revenue/demand analysis, usage forecast, pricing models and regional P and L's among other things. The successful candidate must be able to think strategically, perform dive deep analytics and communicate effectively to senior management. Key responsibilities will include: · Build complex financial models and analytical tools for regional financial analyses; · Develop financial metrics to identify cost improvement opportunities. · Create, maintain and improve profitability and management reporting for all regions. · Drive the financial planning / budgeting process for region expansion. · Support the Region P
· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field. · 5+ years of relevant finance experience.· MBA Preferred · Advanced Financial Modeling and Excel skills · Excellent Project Management skills · Proactive, process- and results-driven, able to set priorities right and committed to deadlines · Excellent judgment and ability to manage diverse stakeholders · Superior communication skills and the ability to express complex ideas succinctly and clearly · Highly analytical and detail oriented · Familiarity with financial systems such a Cognos TM1 preferred.
