The Alexa Voice Service (AVS) finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in shaping a strategically important part of the Alexa business. Alexa Voice Service enables partners like Sonos, Lenovo, and Ecobee to create devices with Alexa built-in, and these devices make Alexa available in a much wider range of products than what Amazon alone can offer customers via Echo and Alexa-enabled Fire devices. These devices are slick – pick up a Sonos One and be prepared to be wowed by Alexa functionality coupled with amazing sound quality! This role will own support for the AVS business development, reference design, and certification teams, and will be focused on helping AVS reach as many customers as possible. Some examples of what this role will own include: · Working closely with business partners to assess the financial impact of business development deals between Amazon and some of the biggest brands in consumer electronics (and other product categories) worldwide,
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 5 years of finance experience, OR master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience· MBA preferred · Advanced analytical and problem solving skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion · Excellent attention to detail, the ability to deal with ambiguity
