In this role, you will provide financial insights and business partnership to Amazon's WW Operations HR, a dynamic, global organization that supports the hiring, development and retention of one of the largest workforces world-wide. This high visibility finance role will provide reliable data and analysis to help with decision making and planning processes, as well as become a trusted business advisor to the leaders of the organization. The ideal candidate is a quick learner and comfortable with ambiguity, possesses a keen attention to detail, has a passion for analytics, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: · Providing business partner finance support for demand planning, productivity metrics, operating expenses, budgeting, and reporting · Diving deep into the data and becoming a subject matter expert · Building and fostering effective relationships and networks · Identifying and understanding business challenges, proposing and implementing solutions
· Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of finance experience OR master's degree in a related field and 5+ years of finance experience · Experience in developing financial reports and metrics · Advanced Excel Modeling skills · Experience working with large-scale data and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, Cognos) · Experience serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership team through short term and long term financial planning processes, confronting and overcoming challenging situations, enabling growth, and driving processes and roadmaps · Comfortable in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment
