Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to support the North America Retail Expansion team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial reporting and in-depth analyses of initiatives focused on delivering revenue growth and bottom line cost savings to our businesses. You will work in a dynamic network of Retail, Operations, and Tech partners, influence decisions about supply chain improvements, and provide insightful recommendations rooted in data and thoughtful analysis. Key job responsibilities include: · FP and A leadership of financial reporting, crafting business narratives and analysis for leadership reviews, and executing financial planning cycles · Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely · Collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent · Minimum 5 years of finance experience, or master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel · Proficiency in SQL · Exemplary financial modeling and analysis skills · Experience with financial reporting · Highly analytical and detail oriented · Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload · Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions ·
