Amazon is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the International Emerging Consumer Finance Team. This is a critical role for helping to build capabilities to help improve financial reporting and analysis to senior leadership as well as implement process improvement within International Emerging Finance. This position will partner with International Consumer FP and A and country finance teams in Australia, Brazil, the Middle East and other emerging countries to facilitate monthly and quarterly finance reviews. The position will also assist in quarterly and annual financial planning as well as execute ad-hoc projects as needed. This role operates in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects, efficiently execute deliverables, and have passion for automation and process improvement. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field 4+ years of relevant experience in a large corporate finance environment with heavy emphasis on analytics Experience working with SQL. Preferred Qualifications Strong SQL, Cognos and Excel experience. Other tools such as Tableau a plus Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills Proven track record of advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, dealing with ambiguity, and ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Demonstrated
