Microsoft cloud infrastructure finance is a fast-evolving team within Microsoft finance at the forefront of Microsoft's mobile first, cloud first strategy. Our charter is to: Support the growth of Microsoft Cloud businesses by driving down unit cost of capacity and ensuring cloud services achieve both profit and gross margin targets Support long-term investments to achieve a leading position in Cloud services Enhance transparency into cloud infrastructure investment Our team provides financial oversight to inform Microsoft's global portfolio decisions (SKU, system integrator etc.); enable end to end cloud infrastructure planning

Ensure adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles, Server demand and budget Develop and implement inventory control procedures. Conduct inventory analysis to answer inventory problems and present solutions and recommended operational policies to senior managers Partner with the business to identify cost saving opportunities/ buy and hold strategic purchases: build financial model to support decision, receive approval and implement the strategic buy Build process to ensure proper financial management of aging and excess stocks and provide awareness to the liabilities
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, math, computer science or engineering. MBA and/or CPA preferred 6+ years of financial planning and analysis, reporting and/or controllership experience with progressive advancement within discipline Strong financial modeling skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams Self-starter with strong business acumen and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities Excellent communication, cross group collaboration and interpersonal skills Strong, proven program management, process change and process management
