The Operations Finance Team (OpsFin) team is looking for an experienced GAAP revenue accountant to help build a revenue contract review and technical accounting program to support the Microsoft Services business. You will work alongside Services controllers providing technical revenue accounting advice and guidance, and developing a program to further technical revenue accounting capabilities. This role will play a key role in driving compliant revenue recognition for Microsoft Services by conducting revenue contract reviews, identifying and analyzing potential gaps between GAAP revenue and system-processed revenue amounts, participating in building a scalable technical revenue accounting program, and participate in initiatives to improve technical accounting capabilities on an on-going basis. Qualified CPA / relevant Professional qualification Minimum 5 - 8 years of related work experience in a large industry or public accounting firm.
