The AWS Sr. Finance Manager will support a rapidly growing global AWS Support organization. This position will partner specifically with the AWS WW Support VP and Directors and encompasses Worldwide Premium Support as well as Customer Service. The successful candidate will help drive the growth of the organization by providing financial stewardship and analytical insight into key financial and operational performance metrics. They will be a strategic partner to the business and assist in evaluating operational processes, business opportunities, and support planning and forecasting. The candidate will also be responsible for building and developing the tools and instrumentation necessary to address business opportunities, push manual process automation, continuously improve internal controls, and drive relationship building across AWS. This candidate will be responsible for prioritizing and directing work and providing cross functional leadership across multiple teams and initiatives including
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar degree. · At least 7+ years of large corporation finance experience with heavy emphasis on analytics and directing the work of other professionals.· MBA from a highly regarded business school is preferred · Experience in budgeting/planning · Advanced written and verbal communication skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership · Internal and external customer focus and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations · Exceptional business judgment capable of driving a diverse organization
