The Artificial Intelligence and Research Group (AIR) Controller Team is looking for a strong senior finance manager to drive strategic investment models and collaborate across finance and the business to deliver impact. The Artificial Intelligence and Research Group (AIR) is doing some of the most innovative work in the company including new investments in Bing and News and leading research through Microsoft Research. The AIR Controller team is a talented group of diverse professionals dedicated to partner with AIR engineers to achieve their strategy in support of the company. As a member of the AIR Controller team you will work closely with our business partners and many stakeholders to determine strategy, report and analyze the business results, influence decision making and manage expenses. The role will include: Finance Modeling : build and maintain financial models in support of forecasting and budgeting in alignment with Corporate and AIR timelines. Develop and present models as needed

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, math, computer science or related discipline 7+ years of relevant finance, business, forecasting, or analysis experience with progressive advancement Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking Business curiosity and acumen Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple and competing projects/priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong competency with Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
