Microsoft's Surface Team is looking for a talented individual to join our Antenna team to define, simulate and design antenna system architecture to enable leading edge industrial designs/products and ensure excellent performance (TRP, TIS, SAR, etc.).
You will work on a broader multi-function product development team where you will work cross group with mechanical engineers, material scientists, electrical engineers, RF engineers, Industrial designers and program managers to deliver the best antenna(s) system architecture that integrates into the Surface product. You will push the edge in antenna design through prototyping, world class simulation and your own innovation.
MSC required in Electrical Engineering or Physics with focus on Antenna's or Electromagnetics. Candidates must have 10+ years of development experience in Antenna design or Electromagnetics including experience in designing and shipping antennas for consumer electronic devices. Qualifications include: • Experience with designing antennas for consumer electronic devices (Cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.) to meet product specification. • Proficiency in basic RF concepts such as impedance matching, smith chart, transmission line theory. • Strong understanding of Maxwell's equations and wave
