Sr. Director Communication, Microsoft Stores The Sr Director of Communications, Microsoft Stores will serve as chief communications officer for the Microsoft Stores Organization, responsible for driving external and internal communications. The position will report to the CVP, Microsoft Stores and will serve on the leadership team, acting as a strategic advisor and thought leader for the team. In this role, you will work through internal and outside partners to implement the communications strategy, including having a strong connection with the Marketing and Consumer Business (MCB) Communications team . As a key member of the CVP's extended leadership team, you will be critical to the engagement and communication with and to the MCB leadership as well as the Stores Leadership Team (SLT), driving in partnership with Strategy a communication rhythm, preparing executives for Digital and Physical store engagements, etc. Success in this role will largely be built on making others great and driving
Lead Internal and external communications for Microsoft Store for Microsoft. Serve on the CVP's leadership team and partner closely with Stores marketing and the Stores leadership team as a strategic partner, for tightly integrated plan development, and as a trusted advisor. Create narrative for Microsoft Stores and how it contributes to Microsoft's success, focusing on the Stores' opportunity to deliver the best places to experience Microsoft whether digital or face-to-face and its growing role in helping transform the Microsoft brand, build community, and drive impact with consumers, enterprises
10+ years of Microsoft strategic PR and communications experience Experience in strategic internal and external communications and PR planning, setting priorities and driving execution for maximum impact. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate ideas into clear, high impact written communications and presentations. High personal accountability for self and others. Personal maturity and models Microsoft values. Empathetic leader and positive force multiplier for the organization. Ability to rapidly gain/build trust and confidence of internal and external stakeholders
