We're looking for a UX designer to help evolve the landscape of technical learning, enabling millions of developers  around the world grow and achieve more. Join the team building docs.microsoft.com, Microsoft's home for content experiences including technical documentation, interactive learning, and forums.  As a UX designer on the Developer Relations Content + Learning team, you'll make informed designs based on quantitative and qualitative data in order to identify the intersection of user needs and business goals to drive toward product improvements. You'll work closely with other designers, product managers, content authors, and engineers to create a positive atmosphere that encourages open feedback and collaboration.

Collaborate with the team to define product strategy and feature roadmaps. Drive complex projects toward clarity and resolution. Produce user flows, storyboards, wireframes, and other design documentation.  Build creative, clear designs that perform well and are accessible to a wide audience.  Participate with the design team in brainstorming, reviews, and working sessions.  Coordinate qualitative and quantitative research efforts, interpret results, and incorporate insights into design solutions.  Effectively present and communicate with stakeholders throughout the design process. BA in design, human computer interaction or related degree.  4+ years of industry experience. You should have proven experience in designing web experiences and applications.  Aware of current and emerging trends in UX design.  Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Balsamiq or similar tools and modern web development techniques.   Experience designing responsive websites that work on mobile, tablet, and device form factors that can scale for global audience. An online portfolio demonstrating experience creating user-centric design solutions (from sketch to shipping).
