Insights Research team Customer Insights Research
The Customer Insights Research team is accountable for discovering, predicting, and describing user need, behavior and response by developing insights for our partners across the Experience and Devices organization. This role focuses on delivering insights for the Browsing, Mobile, and Cross-device Experiences research team. Our research team plays a key role in ensuring customers using our experiences are happy and engaged. In this role you will help stakeholders understand user needs and create and activate frameworks to help drive a human-centered strategy. We welcome a researcher who excels in understanding the needs, wants, and desires of our customers to help engineering teams understand human engagement with products by understanding customer outcomes.

You will be primarily responsible for: 1. Generating actionable user research insights to help stakeholder teams drive better decision making. 2. Providing consultation to engineering and development partners in framing their business and customer questions and develop an appropriate research plan. 3. Proactively and routinely sharing fact-based, forward-thinking customer insights. 4. Providing thought leadership by identifying and recommending research methods or analytical approaches that address short and long-term business objectives. 5. Executing research, analyzing, and presenting insights
Basic Qualifications: At least 8-10 years industry experience conducting user research and effectively partnering with development teams to improve the user experience based on research results. Experience with methods for driving empathy through research and activation. Strong project management, organization, and planning skills with an attention to detail. Experience and demonstrated skill in customer interaction and management. Demonstrated experience working across and influencing many different teams and disciplines.
