Business Function Overview: Global Datacenter Operations Team is looking for an Operations Analyst with a passion for data, analytics, insights, technology and operations. You will be part of a team lighting up actionable insights to help the organization make better business decisions by blending modern analytics capabilities with business strategy to influence the future of the Datacenter Operations Field Services team at Microsoft Microsoft's Cloud Infrastructure and Operations (MCIO) is the engine that powers our cloud services. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 100 datacenters and 1 million servers, managed by a team of subject matter experts working to support services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries

As a successful Datacenter Operations Analyst, your performance objectives will consist of: Develop and implement analytical models that establish an improved data-driven understanding of our Datacenter Operations worldwide, driving continuous improvements, and informed staffing decisions Analyze and interpret data to provide recommendations and insights into datacenter-related staffing models, support, and capacity drivers Collaborate and engage with subject matter experts to gain operational insight into building analytical models leveraging real-life experiences Use standard and ad-hoc reporting
Required Skills and Experience: 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data sciences, mathematics, statistics or data modeling 7+ years of industry work experience in SQL, SQL Server Analysis Services, OLAP, DAX, MDX to implement statistical models, and analysis (prediction, classification, clustering, time series forecasting, regression models, etc.) Proficient with SQL Azure, Azure Services and Azure Data Factory Preferred Skills and Experience: C# and .Net experience preferred Should have data visualization skills, experience in tools like Power BI, Excel Background Check Requirements: Ability
