The CSI Analytics team within Azure Cloud Server Infrastructure (CSI) group is responsible for providing data engineering, business intelligence and data science services for improving customer experience and quality of hardware platform used by all branches of Microsoft Azure Cloud. We are looking for a passionate senior data engineer with exceptional knowledge of modern and traditional data architectures and hands-on experience with building and maintaining scalable data environments both from technical and organizational prospective. Design and maintain standardized CSI data models Apply data management best practices to CSI analytical infrastructure Develop and run Data Quality Improvement program Explore new data technologies and data sources, integrate them into CSI infrastructure Operationalize data products developed by data scientists and software engineers Design, develop, maintain and improve CSI data platform, including Data Lake, SQL and non-SQL databases and data warehouses, data pipelines and BI systems Ensure performance, capacity, availability, security and compliance of CSI data platform
Bachelor's required in Computer Science, or another related field Deep understanding of modern and traditional approaches to data management and large-scale data architectures 5+ years' experience driving data infrastructure improvement programs / projects as a senior data architect/engineer 10+ years hands-on experience with building and maintaining large-scale data platforms 5+ years proficiency using one or more programming or scripting language like C#, Python, PowerShell to work with data and automation Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including cloud-based data products (Azure SQL Database,
