AWS is looking for a product focused Customer Research Manager to execute primary research and deliver insights and guidance to support strategic decision making. This position is full-time, based in Seattle. This research manager will be tasked with helping senior product leadership and product marketers get the data they need to understand customer needs and competitive landscape in order to inform product roadmaps and marketing strategies. The role will require raising the bar to ensure the highest standards are met across diverse research objectives and methodologies. This will require working proactively and collaboratively with stakeholders to define and execute research projects. This position will own a portfolio of product related key metric tracking programs and strategic ad-hoc research initiatives, as well as crafting the roadmaps for future product research efforts. We want a researcher who will champion customer and market insights in driving product strategy, working proactively

· 7+ years of quantitative and qualitative market research and analytics experience in a technology company · Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences · Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques · Exceptional written communication skills, especially in story-telling · Expert-level project management competencies · Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills · BA/BS in relevant education · A natural curiosity and desire to learn· Prior involvement in product focused research · Expertise in business-to-business (B2B) and technology
