The Education Business Planner will have a deep understanding of the current and emerging trends in Education and will thus become a critical driver in building our Education business strategies and offers. This role will report to the Director of Education Business Strategy and Planning and will also be a key thought leader in Education across the company.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Education technology market and identify opportunities for Microsoft. This will include market assessment and opportunity sizing, tracking of Microsoft's position within that market, understanding the competitors, and relevant business models. Lead analysis of the current education business, customers and competitors to develop insights about business performance, trends, and disruptions Identify and model new business, product and market opportunities Partner with BG Business Planning to define and frame strategic options for future education offerings, pricing
3+ years of marketing experience is required; experience working with some Education customers and/or partners is strongly preferred Demonstrated experience and ability in product planning, business planning, and/or analytics Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Additional considerations: Proven capability to create world class business plans and/or product plans Ability to build PowerBI models and to apply analytical frameworks to solving complex problems Passion for education and education technology.
