AWS Marketplace is looking for an experienced business intelligence engineer to help support our senior management team. As AWS Marketplace continues to scale our business, we are looking for an individual who can help improve the quality and accelerate the speed of our decision making. A successful candidate will be able to identify opportunities and diagnose blockers in our business performance using our metrics reporting. Using historical data, they should also be able to guide our future investments using mathematical and statistical modeling to produce business forecasts. As a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, you will research, design, and develop new forecasting technologies to help Amazon leverage its data to support business functions through complicated mathematical modeling. You should be comfortable with database technologies, including SQL, ETL, and Oracle, and their use to design, develop, and evaluate highly innovative business intelligence tools and automated reports for
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field · 3 year of experience in the job offered or as a Data Engineer, Data Miner, or a related occupation · Experience processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources; performing statistical analysis; and developing automated reporting · Experience with SQL and ETL tools· Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field · 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Miner,
