Run with the spirit and energy of a start-up, Alexa Gadgets is focused on leveraging emerging technologies (Alexa voice recognition, IoT, etc.) to create new product opportunities that push the envelope in the use of automatic speech recognition (ASR), natural language understanding (NLU), and audio signal processing. As an early member of the team you will have a significant opportunity to drive the business development strategy, vision, and execution of new product initiatives across the Alexa ecosystem. You will work closely with partner teams that include user experience and industrial design, marketing, business development, program management, and engineering to identify business opportunities and lead them from early
· 5+ years of mobile, software or digital business development experience · Experience prospecting, recruiting, and managing executive level relationships · Experience in presentations, sales and negotiations, including closing deals · Bachelor's degree· Experience working with emerging technologies, especially speech/voice · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalize goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals · · Strong analytical orientation; comfort using databases and analytical tools
