Amazon is seeking a Sr. Air Network Capacity Planner to build scalable tools and processes to forecast and price the scheduled Air capacity available within the Amazon Air network. We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting Sr. Air Network Capacity Planner to build planning and pricing tools that will forecast and scale with Amazon’s growing global demand. As a Sr. Air Capacity Planner, you will own the end to end development of the process to forecast, value, communicate, and measure the accuracy of the capacity available on Amazon Air’s flight schedule. To do this you will work across research science, technology, internal scheduling, operations, sales, engineering, and finance teams. This position
· Completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university · 5+ years in a supply chain, transportation and logistics planning role; or Amazon program management experience · Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematics and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment · Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes. · Proficiency in Advanced Excel, writing SQL queries and mining databases · Demonstrated experience working in cross functional organizations · Experience performing economic analysis
