Do you have a passion for security and customers? A desire to ensure customers are protected with timely and quality security updates, content, and solutions? An interest in contributing to fast moving, real-time security events and crisis? Exhibit a growth mindset and desire to enable others with clear and authoritative communications? If so, we are looking for a technical and operationally strong Risk Manager to help drive our pre-release security update quality assurance and awareness programs. The Security Update Validation Program (SUVP) is our primary vehicle for this effort. SUVP engages customers, partners, and Microsoft engineering teams to ensure product security and stability. The successful candidate for this role will have a technical foundation, solid PM skills, and experience working directly with customers. They must bring a passion for excellence, a service-based approach, program and project experience and a strong ability to collaborate across many teams. This role must

Provide deliverables in alignment with rigorous monthly security update release and communications cycles. Establish and maintain strong customer partnering to ensure update testing is effective and consistent. Have a customer centric mindset and sense of urgency when working customers. Identify and escalate critical bugs and deployment blockers. Communicate on issues at multiple levels including customer, executive, and engineering. Ability to effectively work with account teams, sometimes under pressure of executive escalations. Drive program improvements and growth, assisting in the development
5+ years of related experience in the security field, or a role with strong security components that may include account management, incident response, information security, privacy, network security, forensics, anti-malware, consulting, technical sales, compliance, communications, or public relations. 2+ years of exposure or experience with general software security fundamentals, trends, issues 2+ years of exposure to, or direct involvement in a highly operation and time-sensitive business matters.
