The Datacenter Physical Security team (DCPS) sits within Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) and is responsible for the physical security of all datacenter critical infrastructure facilities worldwide. We manage strategic and tactical activities to ensure this is achieved in a very fast paced, high tech environment, working with multiple stakeholders and priorities. DCPS is looking for a motivated individual to be part of a Security Core Infrastructure Team. The Security Cloud Solutions Engineer will work closely with DCPS and EHS, and other internal and external teams to help build a reliable, stable, high performance, core infrastructure platform to host highly critical access control system. The Security Cloud Solutions Engineer will partner across multiple efforts to develop and drive the overall design, development and operational maturity of our core infrastructure environment. Design/Architect scalable framework in Azure to host Physical Access Control System, Enterprise Datawarehouse and Monitoring system such as but not limited to SCOM. Support DCPS and EHS to help formulate a strategy to promote the adoption of Azure within the Security industry. Guide internal teams and DCPS and EHS pillars to ensure success in migrating applications, software, and services following the principles of Azure Well-Architected Framework. Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the Azure solutions architecture community. Participate in on-call rotation to support 24x7 operations
3+ years experience with supporting Physical Access Control systems, such as Lenel. 3+ years experience with supporting monitoring systems, such as Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM). 3+ years Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management. Subject-matter expertise in one or more of the following: Application development platforms on public clouds and/or Azure in development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C#, Node.JS using Visual Studio, Eclipse, Linux/Windows, public clouds or Azure
