Business Function Overview: The Datacenter Physical Security team (DCPS) sits within Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) and is responsible for the physical security of all Datacenter critical infrastructure facilities worldwide. We manage strategic and tactical activities to ensure this is achieved in a very fast paced, high tech environment, working with multiple stakeholders and priorities. DCPS is looking for a motivated individual to be part of a Security Core Infrastructure Team. The Security Cloud Services Engineer will perform administration and engineering for multiple production databases and responsible for fast-paced complex distributed database environments supporting both OLTP and Enterprise Datawarehouse on Windows platform or Azure Services. Core Responsibilities: Perform administration and engineering for multiple production databases for highly critical access control system and responsible for fast-paced complex distributed database environments. Test, validate and implement performance and resource optimization improvements for in consultation with Cloud Solutions Engineer and Application owner. Maintain development, pre-production and production database environments in Azure. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of experience with supporting Physical Access Control systems, such as Lenel. 3+ years of Enterprise-scale database administration and/or engineering experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures. Subject-matter expertise in one or more of the following: Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and/or SQL Azure database administration and/or engineering for highly critical systems Experience with conducting performance tuning, backup/recovery strategy, scalability and capacity planning in addition to TSQL and Powershell scripting Experience with managing servers in large-scale,
