Microsoft's Artificial Intelligence Products Group (AI Products) is looking for a Forensic Security Analyst and Security Incident Response specialist to help evolve the incident response capabilities across our online services and infrastructure. We support over 5000 engineers working on some of the most innovative products, such as Cortana personal assistant scenarios (Cortana personal assistant, Cortana Speaker, Connected Car, 3rd party integrations), cognitive services and bots (just to name a few). We also provide support for Microsoft's Bing search and cross company platforms such as search, user personalization, targeted advertising and big data platform.
Monitor and respond to security events, potential vulnerabilities, exposures, and policy compliance issues. Triage, Investigate, and Evict adversaries and Red Teams Provide security incident response and management, investigation, and consultation until issue closure. As part of a team, build and develop the forensic program through expertise, collaboration, and influence. Research new incident response tools or capabilities. Drive automation requirements for response and forensic functions. Evaluate security risks and their impact to the Bing and Cortana's Cloud and Online Services environments
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Experience within a Security Operations Center or building SIEM's. Experience with malware analysis, thread hunting and cyber thread intelligence Knowledge of programming language Python Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, WPA, WPA2 and wireless protocols WEP Highly-developed analytical skills, with sound judgement and follow-through in complex situations. Excellent interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of extensive experience in either forensics for multiple platforms
