The Role: Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more startup than big company. We’ll need to tackle problems that span a variety of domains: computer vision, image recognition, machine learning, real-time and distributed systems. As a SDE, you will help tackle a variety of technical challenges. The SDE we are looking for will be focused on building tools, infrastructure and automated systems to enable our teams to test efficiently and measure the quality of our systems. Given that
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. · 3+ years of experience in software development. · Fluency in one or more of: Java, C, C++; and familiarity with one or more of: Python, Perl, PHP. · Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling. · Interest in tools, infrastructure and automation development· Ability to adapt to new challenges and overcome hurdles · Experience with XP or Scrum a plus · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with Development
