Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com, is seeking a talented, experienced, self-directed Sales Play Strategist to join an energetic sales organization that is responsible for driving the development and adoption of AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Core Services by customers around the world. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sales plays that complement marketing programs, which drive product adoption, lead generation, and revenue. This position is part of our Sales organization and will directly align to our U.S. SMB segment, which includes the hottest technology startups and tech trailblazers in the SMB market. The role will focus on developing sales strategies for customer outreach focused on the portfolio of AWS services, including Storage, Infrastructure Solutions, Networking, Security, Mobile, Database and IoT cloud-based services. · 10+ years of Sales and/or Sales Strategy experience · Experience developing Sales Play strategies. · A proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses and influencing results. · Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional projects via impact and influence and collaboration (vs direct authority). · Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement programs, processes, and policies. · Experience managing sales accounts and territories and meeting and exceeding quota. · Bachelor’s Degree is required · Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and problem-solving skills;
