Amazon is seeking a Risk Manager to join Finance Operations Risks and Intelligence (FORI) team. Amazon's Finance Operations organization manages vendor payables and payments, employee payroll, and customer receivables. It is a global organization that supports multiple Amazon businesses and subsidiaries. The primary responsibility of this role is to streamline the external audit process for our Finance Operations organization by serving as the central point of contact for audit matters. You will work closely with the Finance Operations controllership teams to manage matters related to the external audit process, and perform quality reviews of evidence in partnership with these controllership teams. You will be critical in influencing audit timelines and requests by actively engaging in the planning phase with our auditors and accounting teams. You will also provide Finance Operations leadership with regular status updates on past-due PBC items, audit inquires, budget progress, and scope
· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems or a related field. · 10+ years of industry experience of increasing responsibility leading teams and driving technology risk management processes, methodologies and tools. · Strong knowledge of the audit lifecycle, including SOX. · Experience with financial processes, including financial reporting, order to cash, and procure to pay. · · Multidisciplinary experience in risk and project management. · CPA and/or CIA · Proven ability to take ownership, self-motivate, and deliver results in highly ambiguous environments. · Ability
