The Enterprise Risk team is committed to the effective management of Microsoft's Enterprise Risk Framework. Enterprise Risk helps ensure that the company is appropriately identifiying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks which are material to the company's strategies and aspirations. Understanding the risks and opportunities facing our organization, assessing exposure, and acting to effectively respond, will help achieve the Company achieve its core business objectives. The Enterprise Risk team is looking for a Risk Manager to support the overall risk program and ongoing project needs with primary focus on Financial risks. The position engages with many members of the Finance Leadership Team and many of their staff members. The successful candidate for this role will bring a passion for excellence, a service-based approach, program and project experience with a strong ability to collaborate across many teams. This role must be a champion of our overall Risk Management Practice and approach

Key responsibilities: Conduct various risk assessments across the organization to evaluate the current state of risks with each line of business Determine the levels of mitigation in place based on the ERM methodology and provide recommendations and strategies by collaborating with the risk teams and SME's embedded in each business Uses her or his program management skills to identify and assess project risks and use that to inform and influence business decisions Applies a growth mindset approach to continuous improvement in personal, project and organizational development Applies best practices
To be successful you will need the following qualifications: BA/BS in risk management/finance/business related field or equivalent work experience 8+ years of experience working in large, complex businesses Proven track record of delivering results at or above target Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to collaborate and perform within a high-performing team environment Strong networking and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive working relationships across senior leadership teams Must have strong communication and writing skills with high articulation
